Bad Weather Days
  Please be aware that we follow OCPS when it comes to bad weather.  If Orange County Schools are closed, Princeton House is closed. 

Calendar Changes
 
Attached is a "new" calendar.  There are changes due to the two days we missed for Tropical Storm Fay.  Also, be aware that Friday, January 16th is a student holiday and a teacher workday.  This was omitted from the original calendar.

Phone Calls
 
Please do not call your student's teacher during the school day.  They are not allowed to take phone calls while teaching.  You may e-mail your teacher and they will return your e-mail.

Board of Director's Meeting
 
There will be a Board of Director's meeting on Thursday, September 18th at 11:00AM in the conference room at the main campus. 

Dismissal Times
   Pre K       2:00PM
   K-5          3:00PM
   MSHS     3:15PM

Arrivals
 
If you are arriving at 8:00AM for Pre-K through Elementary, you are LATE.  School starts at 8:00AM.  MSHS starts 8:30AM.  We are having a large number of late arrivals.  Please get to school on time.

Portraits
 
LifeTouch will be taking pictures at the main campus on Tuesday, October 14th and Wednesday, October 15th for the Middle School High School campus.  You do NOT have to wear uniforms on picture day.

 

 

Welcome Back from Carol
  Welcome back to our returning parents and students and Welcome to our new parents and students.  We have had a great start to the new school year - even with hurricanes all around us.
  Please remember that communication is very important.  If you have any questions, ideas, or concerns please send us an e-mail or request a meeting.  We may not always agree, but we are here to listen and try to come to a mutual decision.
  As you know, I am focusing on grant writing and the Transition to Adulthood program.  If anyone knows of a foundation or group that gives money, please let me know and I will gladly follow through.
  Please try to turn in your $20.00 for PAC (Parent Advisory Committee).  This money will be used for your child to have fun during our Fall Festival, Spring Water Day, etc.

Middle/High School News
 
Our new lunch menu has been a real success.  Students are eating in cafeteria style - even with music.  Students are cooking and serving as well as cleaning up.  Please remember to send in your kitchen fees ($25.00 per semester or $50.00 for the year).  Your child must pay these fees in order to participate in the kitchen activities.

Blogs
 
Please check the website for your teachers blogs.  Not all teachers have had time to post their blogs yet but many of them are up and running quite nicely.

Mandatory Classroom Meetings
 
Tuesday, September 9th at 7:00PM is the next parent meeting.  They will be held in your child's classroom.  Childcare will be offered for $10.00 per student so please call the office to schedule childcare.

Golf Tournament
 
Information should be going home within the next week or two regarding the Golf Tournament in November.  We are in need of items to give as prizes.  Please let Beverly know if you can help.
