Just Fork It
The restaurant on the corner of our school is
opening next week. They have done a great job cleaning it up

Happy Hour
Our School Advisory Committee
(SAC) met and decided that they want to focus on one
particular area this year. We have decided that a
mentorship program is not the best way to go since we want
to be inclusive of all parents. Mark your calendars, for
Tuesday, October 21st at 6:00PM. This will be our first
Positive Parent Exchange. All parents are invited to
come and bring an horsderve. We will begin with horsderves
and social time and move into a parent panel to discuss our
children and their needs. Childcare will be provided at a
cost of $10.00 per child (scholarships are available). We
want all of our parents to join together and share ideas,
joys, heartbreaks and to come together as a unified team.
Invitations have gone home with your student. |
Parent Corner
To all of the Angels at Princeton House - Four
years ago our son Alex was such a lost soul. He had so much
love and kindness within but no one but mommy could see it.
Everyone else only saw confusion, frustration and a very distant and
unaware child. But that Christmas of 2004 we got the best
Christmas present ever. We got THE CALL from Princeton House
informing us there was space for Alex and he could start right after
Christmas break. WOW! It was like the weight of the
world had been lifted off my shoulders. Alex talks but nobody
but mom could understand him. He had a lot of fears and would
go into severe panic attacks and it was hard to calm him down
causing injuries to himself. He couldn't read or write and he
didn't know his ABC's. He wanted to learn but he couldn't
concentrate well. Today he is 9 years old and he can read,
write and he is a very happy child. PHCS understood and loved
him and saw Alex for what he can be. I believe Alex will be
able to have a very fulfilling life now and it is because of the
Angels at Princeton House. We love you all very much and Thank
God for you every day.
