Fall Festival
Friday is Fall Festival, the preschool, elementary campus
will have a parade at 9:00AM. Please check with your classroom
regarding themes and costumes. Please, no scary costumes.
You may bring a sibling to the parade, however, we will not have
room to accommodate siblings during the fall festival.
Administration is changing
Beginning Monday, November 3rd, we are making changes to our
administrative staff. Roger Watkins will be the principal at
the middle school high school and Tammy Hess will be our new
assistant principal at the elementary campus. Anna Kinchens
will be taking over Tammy Hess's class as lead teacher. We are
very excited about our new changes and hope that they will give
additional support to our staff and our families.

Attention to School Policy
I am writing this as a reminder to our parents. Last week I had
to dismiss 6 students from PHCS because the parents had missed 2
Parent Meetings. This is certainly NOT a fun job for me; however, I
am required to follow the Board of Directors policies. Many of the
parents told me that they were not aware of the policy and didn’t
know that they could only miss 1 meeting. PLEASE, PLEASE make sure
that you know the policies stated in your Parent Handbook, your
Parent Agreement that you signed. Please make sure that you read
your newsletter that reminds parents of upcoming meetings. The
excuse of “I didn’t know” is not acceptable. We have a number
of parents who have already missed a meeting, please be advised that
you will not be allowed to miss any more meetings.
This also includes tardies and unexcused absences. If your
child is tardy or has unexcused absences more than 10 days in a semester,
then you will be dismissed.
These are board policies. These policies are important to the
success of our school. Parent involvement is crucial because we are
a team and all of us must sacrifice for our children.
Seeking: articles for our newsletter about your experiences
with your child.
