Music Premier

We would like to invite you to join us for the music viewing of a song that was specifically written in support of parents of special needs children.  One of our parents and the song writer/performer, Karen Taylor-Good will be presenting a preview of "The Life That's Chosen Me".  This private screening will be available to interested  parents, friends and family members on Tuesday December 9th at 7:00PM at the Middle School/High School campus.  Childcare will NOT be available for this event.  An album is being made with a variety of Grammy nominated and independent artists in support of children and families with special needs.  We encourage you to participate as proceeds from  the sale of the upcoming album will directly benefit Princeton House.  This is a great opportunity to preview this song and join in on this world wide venture.  We are working out details for the possibility of artists to perform songs from this album, live at our Gala in May.  We are very excited about this upcoming album and hope you will share our enthusiasm.

Holiday Needs

We would like to thank those of you helped by donating food items for the Thanksgiving Holiday.  We were able to provide bags of food for 10 families.  We have many families at our school who are in great need, especially for the holidays.  If you are able to help by donating $5.00 to $10.00  please send in your donation by Friday, December 12th.  You will feel great joy knowing you have helped another Princeton House family.  Please send your donations in an envelope and put Beverly's name on the outside.

Bylaws Committee Meeting Time Change

The Bylaws Committee Meeting time has changed from 9:00AM on Thursday, December 11th to 11:00AM at the main campus.

Silent Auction Committee Meeting

Winter Break

The last day of school is Friday, December 19th.  School resumes on Monday, January 5th.  We wish everyone a pleasant and safe holiday vacation.  We look forward to seeing you return after the break.

No Aftercare

There will be NO AFTERCARE on Friday, December 19th.  Please make arrangements to make sure your child is picked up on time!  We have many staff who have flights to catch or are leaving town and cannot leave PHCS until every child has been picked up.

School Time Change

Beginning January 5, 2009, PHCS is changing the dismissal time for students. Our staff needs more time in the afternoon for planning and Team meetings. Please plan accordingly.
The new schedule is as follows:
            PK –                1:45  pm
            Elementary –   2:00 pm
            Buses –            2:15 pm
            Middle/High – 2:30 pm
Morning arrival times will stay the same.

IEP Meeting Cancellations

We have recently had a number of IEP meeting cancellations occur at the last minute.  Although we understand a need to cancel a meeting in case of an emergency situation, however, we must stress the importance of holding these meetings and maintaining IDEA compliance.  Please be aware that parents may participate in IEP meetings via telephone or give consent to hold the meeting without being in attendance.

Carol's Recovery

Carol Tucker recently underwent her second knee replacement.  She is doing excellent and plans to return to work immediately.
