Scrapbooking Fundraiser

Have you sent your RSVP in for the "Crop till you Drop" event this Saturday?  This should be a fun time.  We will be hosting a scrapbooking event Saturday from 9:00 until whenever.  I think some of you were a little nervous that it runs all day but you don't have to stay the whole time.  The cost is $25.00 and lunch will be provided.  Please RSVP so we know how much food to get.

Its Tax Time

Just a reminder that one of our parents, Bryan Girgenti is willing to prepare taxes for $100.00.  Please see the last newsletter for details.  You can obtain a tax organizer from either Lacy or Barbara.  Complete it and turn it back in to the office.

The Life That's Chosen Me CD

If you would like a CD of the song "The Life That's Chosen Me" by Karen Taylor Good please e-mail Carol, ctucker@princeton-house.org or send $2.50 to the office with your name on the envelope along with "The Life That's Chosen Me" and we will get you a CD as soon as possible.

Helping the Homeless

We would like for our students to reach out and help the community.  We are going to collect items to put in care packages for homeless in Central Florida.  Items that we would like to have you bring in would be tooth paste, tooth brushes, deodorant, toiletries, etc.  You could send gift cards for Target or Wal-Mart so we could have the students go purchase the items.  We will then package them up and take them to Coalition of the Homeless.  Please bring in your items or gift cards by Friday, February 28th.

Staff Appreciation Luncheon

Friday, February 13th is the staff appreciation luncheon.  If your classroom is responsible to bring food, please drop it off Friday morning.

There is no school on Monday, February 16th.

Live, Life, Love

We are hard at work on our 12th annual gala, Live, Life, Love.  Karen Taylor Good will be performing live "The Life That's Chosen Me".  We are anticipating 700 people to attend our event at Gaylord Palms.  The silent auction committee is working hard on obtaining items for the event.  We will have the parents packets ready to go for the February parent meeting.  Be prepared to sign up to help with the gala at the parent meeting.

Raffle Tickets

Raffle tickets will be sent home within about a week.  You will receive 25 tickets.  It will be your responsibility to sell them for $2.00 each.

Boxtops

Boxtops are due to be sent in the end of February.  If you have any at home, please send them in right away.
