The Life That's Chosen Me
The album is finally done and it has beautiful songs on it.
Tomorrow, Beverly and I will be traveling to California for the
world premiere and concert by the artists of this album.
Princeton House will be recognized front and center as an
inspiration for this album. Beverly and I will be meeting with
the artists and also with the media to discuss our school and the
benefits this album can provide for us.
A group of our students has recorded a DVD singing one of the songs on
the album "You Are My Teacher". We will be taking this DVD to
California so that the the singer and songwriter will be able to see
our children singing their song. It will mean a lot of
publicity for Princeton House and hopefully we will be able to reap
successful fundraising because of it.
Now is the time to go to our website and visit the "nimbit".
Please use it and share it with others. You may take it to
your MySpace or FaceBook and post it on your webpage. Any
sales from our "nimbit" from your page or ours, $8.00 will go
directly to Princeton House. This is a wonderful and simple
way to raise money for your child's school. There is no reason
that we shouldn't be able to spread this album in Princeton Houses
name across the US. Thus far, only 3 albums have been sold
through our website.
I don't know how else to ask that our families support this endeavor
for our school.

Classroom Fundraiser
In an effort to help the environment and raise money for PHCS, Mrs.
Giroux's class is starting a Drink Pouch Brigade. Each
classroom will be collecting their snack/lunch drink pouches and
Mrs. Giroux's class will collect and sort an send off the pouches.
We are mostly collecting Capri-Sun, Kool-Aid, and Honest Kid drink
pouches. These brands will earn $.02 per pouch. All
other brands will be collected as well but they will only earn $.01
per pouch. If your household would like to joint the Drink Pouch
Brigade please send in your empty drink pouches (no boxes please) to
room 8.
Live, Life, Love Fundraiser
Parents, we truly need your help. Have you mailed out your
letters? Please do your part to purchase your sponsorship or
purchase your tickets. We are trying to get every parent to
purchase a sponsorship. We have received donations from some
of your family members. At the beginning of the year, we
budgeted $110,000.00 for our net proceeds from this fundraiser.
This is down about $30,000 from previous years. Please
help us reach our goals. We have received many silent auction
items but are needing to sell sponsorships and tickets. Please
contact Beverly if you need help.
Online donations
If you choose to pay for your sponsorship or tickets online, we have
the page set up on our website under fundraisers. Please just
type under "add special instructions to the seller" what you are
purchasing or donating. Our web address is
www.princeton-house.org
Family Pictures
Carol is still looking for pictures of your child with his
family engaged in an activity for our gala, examples, Disney, Sea
World, Universal, beach, church on a picnic, etc. These will be
used for the gala video presentation. Please e-mail them to Carol
at
ctucker@princeton-house.org or give her a CD or actual pictures
that we can scan.
Volunteer Hours
Your time is running out to get your volunteer hours completed.
Please remember that all 20 hours must be completed by the last day
of school. Beverly will be needing volunteers for the day and
night of the fundraiser, she will have sign up sheets at the next
parent meeting.
