We had a wonderful turnout at our Behavior training, session 1.  There were 70 families in attendance.  This is a great opportunity for you to work with your child at home and learn behavioral techniques that you can use.  If you did not attend the first session, please do not come into sessions 2 and 3 as groups have been setup already.  The behavior staff will be doing another series of three meetings in January.  If you didn't join the first session, please join the next session in January.

Odyssey Dismissal

Please remember that dismissal is from 2:00pm to 2:10

Box Tops

Please keep sending in your Box Tops.  We will be mailing them off on October 26th.  Also go to www.thebigclip.com every day and enter to win.  This runs until October 31st.

Life Touch Portraits

The Elementary Campus will be having their pictures taken on Wednesday, October 7th and the MSHS will have their pictures taken on Thursday, October 8th.  No uniforms are required on picture day.  We will be sending out your portrait selection form next week.  Please complete it and send it back to your teacher.  PHCS needs volunteers for picture day.  We will need 4 volunteers on October 7th and 2 volunteers on October 8th.  Please contact Heather at 407-523-7121 if you are interested in volunteering.  Life Touch will give the volunteers one free "B" package for helping.

School Etiquette

Parents, please remember your etiquette training when you go into a classroom.  We have seen several examples of parents inappropriately discussing other children while standing in the classrooms.  It is also inappropriate to engage in a conversation with your child's teacher with any concerns during Family Friday.   If you have any questions or concerns, you need to e-mail your teacher or setup a conference.  Family Friday is not an observation of classroom time, it is a time for parents to participate and enjoy your child in the classroom setting.   Please do not expect the classroom routine to be normal.  It is very difficult when there are a lot of people in the class to try to have a typical day.  We want Family Friday to be a positive experience for all.

HoneyBaked Ham

Once again, we will be doing the HoneyBaked Ham fundraiser.  Next week we will be sending out the packets.  You will need to pre sell gift certificates.  We will receive 20% from the total sales.  All gift certificates will be given back to you prior to the Thanksgiving break for you to distribute.  HoneyBaked Ham will give the top seller who sells over $500.00 a gift certificate for an 8 pound ham.  Contact Beverly if you have any questions.

PAC

The next PAC meeting will be held on Friday, October 2nd at 8:30AM at the MSHS.

MSHS Coffee Fundraiser & Art Contest

Students will be creating art work for a special Princeton House coffee brew.   Javamo is the coffee, it comes in multiple flavors as well as cocoa.  The cost is $8.00 for cocoa and $10.00 for coffee.  The bags are 12 ounces.  If you don't have a MSHS student and want to purchase this, please contact Roger at rwatkins@princeton-house.org  The money raised from this coffee fundraiser will help cover the cost of Prom.

  Toner/Ink Cartridges

Thank you to all of you who are sending these in.  We have received over 4 cases of copy paper due to your efforts.  Keep sending them in!
