School Uniforms

We realize that the economy has put everyone in financial stress.  Therefore we are changing our uniform regulations to the following:  Students are no longer required to wear Dennis Uniforms shorts or long pants.  They MUST still be khaki or navy only and an appropriate length.  Please no short shorts for girls.  Uniforms shirts are still required, you may purchase t-shirts, polo shirts or long sleeve shirts from Dennis.  It is also highly recommended that you purchase the sweatshirt from Dennis also.  We are also going to allow students to wear jeans on Fridays along with their uniform shirt.  Parents, its up to you to make sure your child is dressed appropriately.
Please remember to label your jackets and sweaters.

Fall Festival

Check with your homeroom teacher to find out what your classroom is doing on Thursday, October 29th.  Check your teacher's blog as they have updated information.

No School for Students

Friday, October 30th there is no school for students.

HoneyBaked Ham

The big winner for sales of HoneyBaked Ham is Laurie Sutherlin.  She sold over $944.00 worth of gift certificates.  Thank you to all the families who participated.  Our proceeds are $2000.00.  If you haven't turned in your sales slips and money yet, please do so before Friday.

Ink Cartridges

Thank you to all the families who are sending in their used ink and toner cartridges.  For the months of July and August, we have been able to turn them in and exchange them for 86 reams of paper!  Way to go parents!  Thanks for your support!

Classrooms Adopting a Soldier

We have two or three classrooms who are adopting a soldier.  They are asking that parents send in shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soap, razors, toothpaste, mouthwash, lotion, baby wipes, white ankle socks, face wash, clear nail polish, foot scrub, foot powder, facial lotion, magazines, books, hair spray/gel and black hair ties.  These can be travel size.  We would like to have everything turned in by November 6th so we can mail these off to our soldier and he/she can have them by Thanksgiving.  Thank you in advance for your support of our troops!

2010 Gala Silent Auction Committee Meeting

If you would like to be on the silent auction committee (obtaining items) we will be having a meeting at the MSHS on Tuesday, November 3rd at 8:30AM.  Please join us and we will set up groups to obtain different categories.  If you cannot attend but still want to be on the committee, please e-mail Beverly at bcox@princeton-house.org

Sick Children

If we send your child home sick, please keep them home for 48 hours instead of the 24 hours we have required in the past.  We are trying to keep everyone healthy.  We have had cases of students having the swine flu and also staff having the swine flu.  When the staff are out, it really makes it difficult on everyone.  If your child has the swine flu or type A flu, please keep them home for 5 days.
