2010 Gala

We are already working on obtaining silent auction items for the March 20th Gala.  If you are interested in helping with the silent auction committee, please contact Beverly.
We will be holding a raffle for the Gala.  You will be given 25 raffle tickets to sell before Christmas.  They will be $2.00 each.  We already have a 3 day 2 night stay at The Peabody with a gift certificate for dinner for two at Capriccio Grill.  We are trying to obtain 2 roundtrip tickets from AirTran for our second raffle prize.
Please start saving money.  The Family Sponsorships will still be $250.00 and individual tickets will increase to $60.00 this year.

Ink Cartridges/Toner

Thank you to all of you who are turning in the ink cartridges and toner cartridges.  We are getting cases of paper weekly due to your efforts!  Keep up the good work!

No Aftercare

Please remember that there is no aftercare on Friday, November 20th.  All children will need to be picked up at their regular dismissal time.

No School

Please mark your calendars that we have no school the week of November 23rd.

Behavior Meeting 103

This meeting will be held on Tuesday, November 17th at 6:00PM at the MSHS.  You may only attend if you have attended Behavior 101 & 102.

Behavior Childcare

You MUST call the office to schedule childcare by noon on Monday, November 16th.  Childcare is $10.00 per child.

Coupon Books

Parents, if you have received a coupon book to sell and you have not sold it, PLEASE return it immediately.  Otherwise, we will have to pay for that book ourselves.  If you have sold it and not turned in your money, please do so immediately.
Ms. Giroux & Ms. Biegel's class made a profit of over $1000.00.  They will be purchasing social skills games and using the money for community outings.  Way to go!

Holiday Help

The Holidays are upon us.  We have many families who need our help.  With the economy at an all time low, many of our families have lost jobs, their homes and are having trouble buying food and gas.  If you need help, please contact Beverly at bcox@princeton-house.org  If you have already e-mailed Beverly, you are on the list and she will be in touch with you.
I ask that those who can help, please think about helping your fellow families.  Instead of buying 5 presents for Christmas, how about buying 4 presents and donating the money for the 5th to Princeton House.  It will go to good use.  In the past, thanks to the generosity of many families, we have been able to give numerous families a happy holiday.  Please give generously.

Food Drive

If you are willing to donate a turkey dinner, it would be greatly appreciated.  You may contact Publix to purchase a gift certificate for the entire meal and donate the gift certificte to PHCS.  We will then distribute any of the holiday meal gift certificates to one of our many needy families.  We are also collecting nonperishable food items for Princeton House families.  Please go through your pantry and donate foods that could be enjoyed during the holidays.

Update your e-mail

Please contact the school if you do not receive e-mailed newsletters.  In January we will be doing all our communication logs via website e-mail.  If you need to add or change your e-mail, please contact Heather at  hfrye@princeton-house.org or 407-523-7121

Holiday Store (More News to come)

We will be opening a Holiday Store at the elementary campus for one week prior to our winter break.  Students will have an opportunity to come in and purchase small gifts for family members.  This will be an entire elementary school project.  More information will come after the Thanksgiving break.
