Winter Break

There will be no school beginning Monday, December 21st through Friday, January 1st.  School resumes on Monday, January 4th.

Additional Parent Trainings

We have added two more parent trainings.  The first will be a Behavior Meeting on Tuesday, January 12th at 6:00PM at the MSHS.  The second will be Autism in the Home Training on Tuesday May 11th at 6:00PM at the MSHS.  Please remember you must have attended the first general parent meeting in August and 4 additional trainings/classroom meetings.  There are a total of 4 meetings left to chose from.  Please check our website calendar section to see the meetings and dates and times.

Gala Raffle Tickets

We will be sending home 25 raffle tickets per family this week.  They are $2.00 each.  It is your responsibility to sell all 25 tickets.  We are sending them home early as many families like to give them as gifts.  If you want more tickets, please contact the office and we will get them to you.

Medications

If your child takes medication at school, please make sure we have the proper forms filled out.  We also need to know if your child is on medication at home.  We have had a few instances where medical professionals were called in and we did not know if the child was taking any medicine.  Please help us help your child.

Box Tops

Please continue sending in your Box Tops for Education.  Every little bit helps!

January No School Days

Monday, January 18th and Friday, January 22nd there will be no school for students.

Walgreens Distribution Center Grant

The Orlando Walgreens Distribution Center raised money for a year to donate to a local charity.  They chose Princeton House.  They raised $8,900.00 and their corporate office matched that amount.  Their donation of $17,800 was received by Carol and Beverly last week.  The funds from this grant will be used to completely rebuild the preschool playground and purchase new preschool playground equipment.  Thank you to Walgreens!

TriNet (formally Gevity) Grant

TriNet is our human resource provider.  They contacted Carol last week and told her we were the recipient of a $25,000 grant.  They had over 60 charities who were nominated for the grant.  They chose Princeton House on the east coast and another educational foundation on the west coast.  We are very excited!

Ink & Toner Cartridges

Please continue sending in the ink and toner cartridges.  We are starting to run low on all the reams of paper you donated at the beginning of the year.  This is a very easy way to help us receive paper.  We turn in the ink/toner cartridges and we receive reams of paper in return.  Please help!

A Small World Gift Shop

The holiday shop was a huge success.  If you sent in money, your student has been having fun picking out gifts for family members.

Coffee Sales

The MSHS students sold coffee as a fundraiser to cover the costs of the middle school field trip and high school prom.  They sold $1489.00 worth of coffee. The proceeds to the school was $540.00.  Way to go MSHS students!  Parents who ordered can expect to receive their orders this week.
