Welcome Back. We hope all of you had a very relaxing break.
January No
School Days
Monday, January 18th there will
be no school for staff or students and Friday, January 22nd
there will be no school for students, it is a teacher
workday. |
Behavior Training
The Behavior Training scheduled for next Tuesday, January 12th at
6:00PM at the MSHS is for any parent who did not attend the
previous behavior trainings. If you have already attended any
of the three previous trainings, please do not come as this behavior
training will cover the same topics as the previous trainings.
If you need childcare, please contact Heather before 1:00PM Monday to
schedule your childcare. Also you will need to pay for
childcare by Tuesday morning to save a spot for your child.
Warm Clothes
Please send your child to school in warm clothes. We are
allowing any type of pants, sweatshirts or jackets. Your child
still needs to wear their Princeton House shirts.
Autism Town Hall Meeting
Florida Hospital is sponsoring this meeting on Wednesday, January
20th at 2:00PM at Orlando Science Center. The presenters are
Geraldine Dawson, MD, Scientific Leader of Autism Speaks & Research
Professor of Psychiatry at UNC/Chapel Hill; Thomas Insel, MD,
Director of the National Institute of Mental Health and Lonnie
Zeltzer, MD, Director of the Pediatric Pain Program at UCLA Mattel
Children's Hospital. They plan on discussing the latest
diagnosis and treatment options for autism. They will discuss
research findings, including the role of genetics and they will also
outline pain management options for autistic children.

Fundraiser
The fundraiser is coming up fast! It is Saturday, March 20th.
Please help by selling your raffle tickets and obtaining silent
auction items.
We have added to our website sponsorship page a way to purchase tickets,
sponsorships and also make donations. This information will be
on the forms that we will be giving you.
Individual tickets prices have increased to $60.00 per ticket. We
have not raised ticket prices in 7 years.
Raffle Tickets
Raffle tickets were sent home right before the holidays. You
were given 25 tickets to sell. It is your responsibility to
sell all 25 tickets. You have until Friday, March 19th to turn
in your ticket stubs and your $50.00. We have plenty of
tickets if you would like to sell more.
Silent Auction Items
We are asking parents to help obtain silent auction items. We
need ANY item that is new and the value is $50.00 or greater.
You can get gift certificates from restaurants, Publix, Wal-Mart,
etc. Please contact Beverly if you have any questions.
Gala Packets
We will be sending home your packets soon. You will be given 5
formal invitations with RSVP cards along with 5 of our original
Sponsorship forms and Dear Friend forms for you to mail out.
Volunteer Hours
Just a reminder that you need to keep track of your volunteer hours.
The book for you to write in your hours is in the front office.
