Gala Update

Since the letter going out earlier this week, the parents have started to rally!  We now have over $42,000 in sponsorships and over $5000 in donations and ticket sales.  We need every family participating to make this a success.  Please purchase your tickets and sponsorships before the deadline, Friday, March 12th.  Less than 25% of families have participated so far.  We really, really, really need your help!
Don't forget you can purchase your tickets or sponsorships at our website, www.princeton-house.org and go to our fundraiser page.

Volunteers needed

We need at least 16 more parent volunteers for the night of the Gala.  We are looking for 6 people to be "runners" from 9:30PM to 11:30PM and 10 people to be "silent auction monitors" for one hour blocks between 6:30PM-11:30PM.  If you are able to help, please e-mail Andrea at alonergan@princeton-house.org to let her know.
If you are volunteering and planning on entering the ballroom or eating you MUST purchase a ticket.

Gala Volunteer Meeting

If you are volunteering the night of the Gala, we are holding a meeting on Tuesday, March 16th at 1:00PM at the MSHS.  If you are volunteering and CANNOT attend, please e-mail Andrea alonergan@princeton-house.org so she can give you other information.

PAC Meeting

There will be a PAC meeting this Friday, March 5th at 8:30AM at the MSHS.

Spring Break

There is no school for students on Friday, March 26th and we will be off the week of March 29th through April 2nd.

Car Wash

Staff and parent volunteers will be holding their second annual car wash this Saturday from 12:00PM to 3:00PM.  Please come by and get your car washed.  Contact Jen Galindez at JennyI1206@yahoo.com if you want to purchase tickets or help.

Student of the Month

Adam Bahraoui is a very happy, outgoing 6 year old boy who loves going to to school at Princeton House Charter School.  He always speaks of his teachers with such affection and respect and is constantly referencing them to his family during "together time".  He lives with his mother, step-dad and his 14 year old brother, Alex.
Adam often mentions his school mates and loves to tell stories about each of them from day to day.  He is blossoming into a wonderful boy and enjoys learning new things.  An avid sports enthusiast, he has a remarkable gift of memorizing his favorite sports teams players and certain statistics each of them have compiled.
He has recently mastered the threading of all sizes of beads onto string and will sit for hours completing one project after another.  He worked on this for months before developing the hand/eye coordination necessary to complete the difficult task.  His favorite TV shows include Barney and Elmo.

Tardy Policy

Beginning March 1st we are only allowing one parent and child at a time into the office to sign in late.  The confusion with many parents and children in the office is very disruptive and many students become overwhelmed.  Please wait outside the door until the parent ahead of you has left.
Please make the transition to school easier on your child and the other students in the classroom by having your child at school on or before 8:00AM

X-Games

PHCS has a committee working hard to make X-Games fun for everyone this year!  They will be held on March 25th starting at 8:30AM.  If you would like to volunteer to help that day, contact your office and let them know.

Keep us updated

Please make sure you contact the office and give us new phone numbers, e-mails and/or addresses.  We need to be able to reach you in case of an emergency.

Board of Directors Meeting

Our next meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 25th at 9:00AM at the Elementary Campus.  These meeting are opened to the public and everyone is invited to attend.
